21. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
I try to be more of a giver--I give time, comments, gifts when I can, but I feel like more of a taker since I'm unemployed and supported by my husband.
22. Do you make your decisions with an open heart/mind?
Yes. I don't think I could close either even if I tried.
23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
This weird shit thing that happened to my back the week before I went to boot camp. Something just...snapped...and I barely made it to my bed to lay down and hope it ended on its own because there wasn't really anything I could do besides attempt to get comfortable. At one point I had to pee so bad that I made the arduous trek (just a few meters, but might as well have been miles) to the bathroom and got back and looked up at the remote control just out of reach on top of the dresser, but knew I wasn't going to get up to get it because it hurt too much to move. The next several days it took forever to sit down and get up and while I'd had back problems since middle school (I'm rather top-heavy), my back has been worse since.
24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Dayne leaving. Nuff said.
25. Who have you hugged today?
My husband. :)
26. Who has done something today to show they care about you?
It's only 0633 and Chris left for work not too long ago, though I did get a hug and a kiss and an "I love you" before he left.
27. Do you have a lot to learn?
Always! Doesn't everyone?
28. If you could learn how to do three things just by wishing and not by working what would they be?
A. Advanced knitting
B. Advanced cross-stitch
C. DDR at Oni level
29. Which do you remember the longest: what other people say, what other people do or how other people make you feel?
The third isn't really separable from the first two as far as I'm concerned.
30. What are the key ingredients to having a good relationship?
Trust and trustworthiness on both sides, genuine mutual affection, and an endless amount of stuff to talk about so that you never get bored.
31. What 3 things do you want to do before you die?
A. Go to a Jimmy Buffett by-the-bay concert and be in a raft/boat in the bay.
B. Go to a convention--Star Trek, anime, general geekery--I want to go! Many conventions, actually. :)
C. Get down to a healthy weight for my height and stay there.
32. What three things would you want to die to avoid doing?
A. Hurting Chris or Fizzy
B. ...or my parents.
C. ...or my siblings or close friends.
33. Is there a cause you believe in more than any other cause?
I believe in equal rights and equal courtesy towards all, and that extends to all my causes.

80's: Big hair, glam rock, heavy metal, Reaganomics, Billy Joel.
90's: Nickelodeon back when it didn't suck. VH-1 back when it didn't suck. Monica Lewinsky and O.J. Simpson. Lots of awesome rock music.
2000's: Internet and 9/11 and wars and politics, sooo much politics! And more internet.
2010's: It's only January 11th of the new decade. Let's give it some time before we start summing things up. :)
35. Which decade do you feel the most special connection to and why?
The 90's, since it's the first decade I remember clearly. It's also the decade of nearly all my schooling and the decade when adolescence started. Plus I love so much of the music from the 90's!
36. What is your favorite oldie/classic rock song?
I don't think I could pick just one! Though "Old Time Rock and Roll" by Bob Seger is one of my favorites. :)
37. What country do you live in and who is the leader of that country?
I live in the United States of America, and the current leader is President Barack Hussein Obama.

Un-privatize stuff, pronto!
38. What's your favorite TV channel to watch in the middle of the night?
MSNBC. Or the History Channel.
39. What Disney villain are you the most like and why?
I dunno...Cinderella's stepsisters, maybe? Because I'm ugly and sometimes I feel rather bitter about that.
40. Have you ever been a girl scout/boy scout?
Yes. I was a Girl Scout in fourth grade.
